Their world is fragile. Our love is not. ❤️

There are children for whom every day is special.

Not because something extraordinary necessarily happens.

But because sometimes ordinary things—a peaceful sleep, a smile, a mother’s voice, the touch of a hand, a morning free of pain—become the greatest happiness.

Their world is very fragile.

It holds much that is unseen by outsiders: many anxieties, sleepless nights, and unspoken questions. And much love that learns, day by day, to be stronger than exhaustion.

It also holds dreams.

Small ones and big ones. Quiet ones and bold ones.

Dreams that have the right to exist, regardless of a diagnosis.

October 10th is World Palliative and Hospice Care Day.

For some, it is just a date on the calendar.

For our charity foundation, "With an Angel on the Shoulder", it is a reminder of the children we keep in our hearts—not just for one day a year.

Because they are ours - the children of our Pediatric Mobile Hospice.

And every child is not merely a medical case history. Each is a whole universe—with a unique personality, habits, favorite voices, small joys, and the profound right to be loved.

We cannot take away all the hardships of their lives.

We cannot always change what is written in medical reports.

But we can ensure there is more care in their lives. More relief. More warmth. A stronger sense that they are not alone. Sometimes our help comes in the form of boxes filled with essentials. Sometimes, it is care supplies that make the daily work of parents a little easier.

Sometimes, it is a phone call, a word of support, or finding a solution together.

And sometimes, it is simply the family knowing they are not forgotten.

We are by their side.

In our thoughts—as we worry about every single child.

In our actions—as we gather, pack, transport, and deliver what is needed.

In our dreams—as we wish for as many bright days as possible in the lives of our children.

And you know...

In palliative care, there is no such thing as a small act of kindness.

Because even the simplest thing can mean a little less exhaustion for a family. A little more peace. One more chance to hug their child without thinking, even for a moment, about the daily struggles.

Today, we want to embrace all our children with our words.

And their moms and dads, too.

Those who love so deeply that, at times, they no longer have the strength to speak of that love.

Thank you to everyone who helps us stand by their side.

And may this fragile world always feel the presence of people who cherish and protect it with love.

For palliative care is not about how much life remains; it is about how much love, dignity, and care fill each day.

With love, your team
