- Thoughts about my daughter and family kept me in captivity. It was they who gave strength to pass all the tests. It was they who warmed the soul in the most difficult time. I had enough time to think about my life, about what and why is happening in our country. I have been speaking Russian for more than 40 years. But after the capture, he firmly decided to speak Ukrainian. My current wife supports and helps me in this. She speaks Ukrainian perfectly and corrects me when I use surzhik.
Strong, strong-willed, wise...
Worthily passed the test of fate. He courageously showed Muscovites the indomitability of the Ukrainian. Having a lot of strength of spirit, support of his family, great ideas for building a new Ukraine, Oleksandr continues to stand in defense of Ukraine.
Today is his birthday. I ask: "Did you celebrate your birthday in captivity?". Sasha smiled sadly and said: "I was congratulated by the prison warders on a "special" occasion - with punches on the liver. - For what? - the cellmates ask. - Well, they probably have this way of greeting."
The charity foundation "With an angel on my shoulders" came to congratulate Oleksandr on his birthday.
Sincere wishes, hugs, gifts, cakes and treats are like great gratitude to a warrior for his indomitability.
We would like to thank the Germans Katja Kornienko and Gitta Bretsch for the embroidery, Vira Lozynska for the delicious cheesecake, Veronika for the cake, and the management and staff of Hotel TuStan in Skhidnytsia for the delicious preparations.
Each of you has the opportunity to help people who were in Russian captivity to heal their mental and physical wounds by participating in the collection of funds for the rehabilitation of prisoners of war.
